創世記 29
- 1 雅各 起 行，到了 東方 人 之地，
- 2 看見 田間 有一口井， 有三 群 羊 臥 在井旁；因為 人飲 羊群 都是用 那 井裡的水。井 口 上 的石頭 是大的。
- 3 常有羊群 在那裡 聚集，牧人把 石頭 轉 離 井 口 飲 羊，隨後又把 石頭 放 在 井 口 的原處。
- 4 雅各 對牧人 說：「弟兄們，你們 是哪裡來的？」他們說：「我們是 哈蘭來的。」
- 5 他問他們 說：「 拿鶴 的孫子 拉班，你們認識嗎？」他們說：「我們認識。」
- 6 雅各說：「他 平安嗎？」他們說：「平安。看哪，他女兒 拉結 領著 羊 來了。」
- 7 雅各說：「 日頭 還 高，不是 羊群 聚集 的時候，你們不如飲 羊，再去 放一放。」
- 8 他們說：「我們不 能，必等 羊群 聚齊，人把 石頭 轉 離 井 口 才可飲 羊。」
- 9 雅各正 和他們 說話的時候，拉結 領著 她父親的 羊 來了，因為 那些羊 是她 牧放的。
- 10 雅各 看見 母 舅 拉班 的女兒 拉結 和 母 舅 拉班 的羊群，就上前 把 石頭 轉 離 井 口，飲 他母 舅 拉班 的羊群。
- 11 雅各 與拉結 親嘴，就放 聲 而哭。
- 12 雅各 告訴 拉結， 自己是 她父親 的外甥， 是 利百加 的兒子，拉結就跑去 告訴 她父親。
- 13 拉班 聽見 外甥 雅各 的信息，就跑 去迎接，抱 著他，與他 親嘴，領他 到 自己的家。雅各將 一切的 情由 告訴 拉班。
- 14 拉班 對他 說：「你 實在 是我的骨 肉。」雅各就和他 同住了 一個月。
- 15 拉班 對雅各 說：「你 雖是我的骨肉（原文是弟兄），豈可白白地 服事我？請告訴 我，你要甚麼 為工價？」
- 16 拉班 有兩 個女兒，大的 名 叫利亞，小的 名 叫拉結。
- 17 利亞 的眼睛 沒有神氣，拉結 卻生得 美 貌 俊秀。
- 18 雅各 愛 拉結，就說：「我願為你小 女兒 拉結 服事你 七 年。」
- 19 拉班 說：「我把她 給 你，勝似 給 別 人，你與我 同住吧！」
- 20 雅各 就為拉結 服事 了七 年；他因為深愛 拉結，就看 這七年如同 幾 天。
- 21 雅各 對 拉班 說：「 日期 已經滿了，求你把 我的妻子 給我，我好與她 同房。」
- 22 拉班 就擺設 筵席，請齊了 那地方 的眾 人。
- 23 到 晚上，拉班 將 女兒 利亞 送來 給雅各，雅各就與她 同房。
- 24 拉班 又 將 婢女 悉帕 給女兒 利亞 作使女。
- 25 到了 早晨，雅各一看 是 利亞，就對 拉班 說：「你向我 做 的是甚麼事呢？我服事 你，不是 為拉結嗎？你為甚麼 欺哄我呢？」
- 26 拉班 說：「大女兒還沒有給人，先 把小女兒 給人，在我們這地方 沒有 這 規矩。
- 27 你為這個 滿了 七日，我就把 那個 也 給 你， 你再 為她服事 我 七 年。」
- 28 雅各 就如此 行。滿了 利亞的 七日，拉班便 將 女兒 拉結 給雅各 為妻。
- 29 拉班 又將 婢女 辟拉 給 女兒 拉結 作使女。
- 30 雅各也 與 拉結 同房，並且 愛 拉結 勝似愛利亞，於是又 服事 了拉班 七 年。
- 31 耶和華 見 利亞失寵（原文是被恨；下同），就使 她生育，拉結 卻不生育。
- 32 利亞 懷孕 生 子，就給他起名 叫 流便（就是有兒子的意思），因而 說：「 耶和華 看見 我的苦情，如今 我的丈夫 必愛我。」
- 33 她又 懷孕 生 子，就說：「耶和華 因為 聽見 我失寵，所以又 賜 給我 這個兒子」，於是給他起名 叫 西緬（就是聽見的意思）。
- 34 她又 懷孕 生 子， 起名 叫 利未（就是聯合的意思），說：「 我給丈夫 生了 三個 兒子， 他 必與我 聯合。」
- 35 她又 懷孕 生 子，說：「這回 我要讚美 耶和華」，因此 給他起名 叫 猶大（就是讚美的意思）。這才停了 生育。

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
