Genesis 15
- 1 بعد از این ابرام رؤیائی دید و صدای خداوند را شنید که به او می گوید: «ابرام، نترس، من تو را از خطر حفظ می کنم و به تو اجر بزرگی می دهم.»
- 2 ابرام جواب داد: «ای خداوند متعال، چه اجری به من می دهی در حالیکه من فرزندی ندارم؟ تنها وارث من این ایلعازَر دمشقی است.
- 3 تو به من اولادی ندادی و یکی از غلامان من وارث من خواهد شد.»
- 4 پس او شنید که خداوند دوباره به او می گوید: «این غلام تو، ایلعازَر، وارث تو نخواهد شد. پسر تو وارث تو می شود.»
- 5 خداوند او را بیرون برد و فرمود: «به آسمان نگاه کن و ببین که آیا می توانی ستارگان را بشماری. فرزندان تو هم مثل ستارگان بیشمار می شوند.»
- 6 ابرام به خداوند ایمان آورد و خداوند این را برای او عدالت شمرد و او را قبول درگاه خود کرد.
- 7 سپس خداوند به او فرمود: «من همان خداوندی هستم که تو را از اور بابل بیرون آوردم تا این سرزمین را به تو بدهم و تو صاحب آن شوی.»
- 8 اما ابرام از خداوند پرسید: «ای خداوند متعال، چگونه بدانم که صاحب این سرزمین می شوم؟»
- 9 خداوند در جواب فرمود: «یک گوساله و یک بز و یک قوچ که هر کدام سه ساله باشد و یک قمری و یک کبوتر برای من بیاور.»
- 10 ابرام این حیوانات را برای خدا آورد، آن ها را از وسط دو تکه کرد و هر تکه را روبروی تکۀ دیگر گذاشت. اما پرندگان را پاره نکرد.
- 11 لاشخور ها آمدند تا آن ها را بخورند، ولی ابرام آن ها را دور کرد.
- 12 هنگام غروب آفتاب ابرام به خواب سنگینی فرورفت، و ترس و وحشت ابرام را فرا گرفت.
- 13 خداوند به او فرمود: «نسل تو مدت چهار صد سال در کشور بیگانه در غلامی بسر خواهند برد و بر آن ها ظلم و ستمی زیاد می شود.
- 14 اما من ملتی که آن ها را به غلامی می گیرند مجازات می کنم. وقتی که آن ها سرزمین بیگانه را ترک کنند، ثروت فراوانی با خود می برند.
- 15 خودت در کمال پیری به آرامی می میری و دفن می شوی و با اجدادت می پیوندی.
- 16 چهار نسل طول می کشد تا اولادۀ تو به اینجا برگردند. زیرا من اموریان را بیرون نمی کنم، زیرا شرارت آن ها هنوز به اوج خود نرسیده است که مجازات شوند.»
- 17 وقتی آفتاب غروب کرد و هوا تاریک شد، ناگهان یک ظرف آتش و یک مشعل فروزان ظاهر شد و از میان تکه های حیوانات عبور کرد.
- 18 سپس خداوند در آنجا با ابرام عهدی بست. او فرمود: «من قول می دهم که تمام این سرزمین، از مصر تا دریای فرات را،
- 19 که شامل قَینی ها، قَنِزی ها، قدمونیان،
- 20 حِتیان، فرزیان، رفائیان،
- 21 اموریان، کنعانیان، جَرجاشیان و یبوسیان است، به نسل تو بدهم.»

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
