- 1 時にイエズス、己が弟子を造り人を洗する事、ヨハネよりも多き由の、ファリザイ人の耳に入りしを知り給ひしかば、
- 2 ――但洗せるはイエズスに非ずして、其の弟子等なりき――
- 3 ユデアを去りて再びガリレアに往き給へり。
- 4 然るにサマリアを通らざるを得ざりしければ、
- 5 ヤコブが其子ヨゼフに與へし土地に近き、サマリアのシカルと云へる町に至り給ひしが、
- 6 此處にヤコブの井ありけるに、イエズス旅に疲れて、其儘井の上に坐し給へり、時は十二時頃なりき。
- 7 爰にサマリアの一人の婦、水汲みに來りしかば、イエズス之に向ひて、我に飲ませよ、と曰へり。
- 8 是弟子等は食物を買はんとて町に往きたればなり。
- 9 其時サマリアの婦云ひけるは、汝はユデア人なるに、何ぞサマリアの婦なる我に飲物を求むるや、と。是ユデア人はサマリア人と交らざる故なり。
- 10 イエズス答へて曰ひけるは、汝若神の賜を知り、又我に飲ませよと汝に云へる者の誰なるかを知らば、必ず彼に求め、彼は活ける水を汝に與へしならん。
- 11 婦云ひけるは、君よ、汝は汲む物を有たず、井は深し、然るを何處よりして活ける水を有てるぞ。
- 12 我等が父ヤコブ此井を我等に與へ、自らも其子等も其家畜も之より飲みしが、汝は彼より優れる者なるか。
- 13 イエズス答へて曰ひけるは、総て此水を飲む者は復渇くべし、然れども我が與へんとする水を飲む者は永遠に渇かず、
- 14 我が之に與ふる水は、却て彼に於て、永遠の生命に湧出づる水の源となるべし。
- 15 婦云ひけるは、君よ、我が渇く事なく此處に汲みにも來らざる様、其水を我に與へよ。
- 16 イエズス曰ひけるは、往きて夫を呼來れ。
- 17 婦答へて、我は夫なし、と云ひしかば、イエズス曰ひけるは、善くこそ夫なしと云ひたれ、
- 18 夫は五人まで有ちたりしに、今あるは汝の夫に非ず、汝が然云ひしは實なり。
- 19 婦云ひけるは、君よ、我観るに、汝は預言者なり。
- 20 我等が先祖は此山にて禮拝したるに、汝等は云ふ、禮拝すべき處はエルザレムなりと。
- 21 イエズス曰ひけるは、婦よ、我を信ぜよ、汝等が此山となくエルザレムとなく、父を禮拝せん時來るなり。
- 22 汝等は知らざる者を禮拝し、我等は知りたる者を禮拝す、救はユデア人の中より出づればなり。
- 23 然て眞の禮拝者が、霊と實とを以て父を禮拝すべき時來る、今既に其時なり。其は父も、斯く己を禮拝する人を求め給へばなり。
- 24 神は霊にて在せば、之を禮拝する人は、霊と實とを以て禮拝せざるべからず、と。
- 25 婦イエズスに謂ひけるは、我はメッシア（所謂キリスト）の來るを知る。然れば彼來らば萬事を我等に告ぐべし。
- 26 イエズス之に曰ひけるは、汝と語りつつある我、即ち其なり、と。
- 27 軈て弟子等來り、イエズスの婦と語り給へるを怪しみしかど、誰も何をか求め何故彼と語り給ふ、と云ふ者なかりき。
- 28 斯て婦、其水瓶を遺して町に往き、其處なる人々に向ひ、
- 29 來て見よ、我が為しし事を殘らず我に云ひたる人を、是はキリストならんか、と云ひしかば、
- 30 彼等町より出でてイエズスの許に來れり。
- 31 其隙に弟子等イエズスに請ひて、ラビ食し給へ、と云ひしに、
- 32 曰ひけるは、我には汝等の知らざる食物の食すべきあり、と。
- 33 弟子等、誰か食物を持來りしぞ、と云ひ合へるを、
- 34 イエズス曰ひけるは、我が食物は、我を遣はし給ひし者の御旨を行ひて其業を全うする事是なり。
- 35 汝等は、尚四箇月の間あり、其後収穫の時來る、と云ふに非ずや。我汝等に告ぐ、目を翹げて田畑を見よ、最早穫取るべく白みたり。
- 36 穫る人は報を受けて永遠の生命に至るべき果を収むれば、捲く人も穫る人も共に喜ぶべし。
- 37 諺に一人は撒き一人は穫ると云へる事、是に於て乎實なり。
- 38 我汝等を遣はして、勞作せざりし物を穫らしめたり。即ち他の人前に勞作して、其勞作したる所を、汝等が承継ぎたるなり、と。
- 39 然て彼町にては、彼人我が為しし事を殘らず我に告げたり、と證したる婦の言によりて、多くのサマリア人イエズスを信ぜしかば、
- 40 人々御許に來りて、此處に留り給はんことを請へり、然れば此處に留り給ふ事二日にして、
- 41 尚多くの人御言によりて之を信仰せり。
- 42 斯て彼婦に向ひ、我等は最早汝の語る所によりて信ずる者に非ず、即ち自ら彼に聴きて、其眞に救世主たる事を知れり、と云ひ居たり。
- 43 然るに二日の後、イエズス其處を出でてガリレアに往き給へり。
- 44 預言者其本國に尊ばれず、と自ら證し給ひしが、
- 45 ガリレアに至り給ひしに、ガリレア人は、曾て祭日にエルザレムにて行ひ給ひし一切の事を見たりければ、イエズスを歓迎せり、其は彼等も祭日に往きてありしなり。
- 46 斯てイエズス再び、嚮に水を酒に化し給ひしガリレアのカナに至り給ひしに、一人の王官あり、其子カファルナウムにて病み居ければ、
- 47 イエズスユデアよりガリレアに來給ふと聞きて、御許に至り、下りて己が子を醫し給はん事を切に願ひ居たり、彼将に死なんとすればなり。
- 48 イエズス之に曰ひけるは、汝等は徴と奇蹟とを見ざれば信ぜず、と。
- 49 官人イエズスに向ひて、主よ、我子の死なざる前に下り來給へ、と云ひしに、
- 50 イエズス、往け、汝の子活く、と曰ひしかば、此人イエズスの己に曰ひし御言を信じて往きたり。
- 51 然て下る途に、僕等行逢ひて、其子の活きたる由を告げければ、
- 52 其回復せし時刻を問ひしに、彼等、昨日の午後一時に熱去れり、と云ふにぞ、
- 53 父は恰もイエズスが汝の子活くと己に曰ひしと同時なりしを知り、其身も一家も挙りて信仰せり。
- 54 此第二の奇蹟は、イエズスユデアよりガリレアに至り給ひし時に行ひ給ひしなり。

Bible translated by E. Raguet. Emile Raguet(1854-1929) is a Belgian missionary. He came to Japan at 1879. He translated a New Tastament based on Vulgate into classical Japanese in 1910. His translation was treated as the semi-official Catholic translation in Japan.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
